Okay, I checked it all out and in order to sync our calender with our timeline first I have to activate it of course, but the only problem is that when you type it into the calender, it will come up as a post here and unless you type the date in the description, noone would even know the date unless they looked at the calender. I can show you guys an example if you like, so you can understand better about what I'm trying to say.

Correct. What you really need is something like this: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Yes! That would be perfect!!! Wonder if can get a widget like that? I know we can have additional widgets, just not sure about one like that. Let me go see.

Dangrs, is there anyway we can use that widget on here? I mean by code, in a thread? Or how can I get that badboy?

You can get that code for free from MIT. Open source!

I haven't read all of this documentation, I just happened to know a bit about visualization software. Be happy to help out with some coding too if it is not beyond my abilities...

Okay, well help me out with this timeline thingie. I have found where to put it once completed. If I read long enough I'm sure I could do it, but since you already know about it, I figured it would be better if you did it. If you don't want to or don't have time, I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.
    Thanks!

I will look at it further over the weekend, but it seems straightforward.

Looks like you can just add some code to your web pages here without putting the API on your local server if desired. The server then runs on MIT's system and delivers a timeline image to the page over the net. We should try that first...

I'm going to need to be able to try adding the code to the webpages here. Let me know how to do that.

Are we thinking of just adding a fixed timeline to this page or adding timelines more generally to the site?

I think I know how to add it to this page right now...

Will make an example this weekend.

Well I think I can add it as a widget. Not real sure but pretty sure anyway. Or you can just add it here. It's up to you, if you make it, you can put it anywhere you want. Smile
Even on Tapu's head if you like. Timeline of Events Lol

Here is a timeline of "history" that I put together:

    1955 Debra born, Richmond, VA
    1959 Mark born, Benton, IL
    1977 Mark graduated high school
1981ish Mark goes to Champaign, IL U of I
1990 My husband sees Mark, sober, in Champaign, IL
    1992 Emma born, Champaign, IL
2003ish Mark starts pastoring at Walkers, Hixburg, VA
2006 Mark gets his Masters of Divinity, Richmond VA

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

And, to explain the info on Mark to our new RLC friends, I went to high school with Mark (the Dad/Pastor that was murdered) and my husband knew him in the high school years from regional Boy Scout's events, knew him in college and lived with him for a short time in college.

It's okay DM, take your time! I'm not in any hurry. Please don't feel obligated or rushed. All the times will still exist when you are ready. Smile

But what you have done so far has really made this place what it is and its turning out great so far because of you and Heroine's efforts and hard work.

It seems straight forward, I just keep having other items come up. Have to deal with a VC funding application and a possible consulting opportunity during the first part of the week, then I will try to look at this.

I think it is important to note that he asked for the same officer to respond, showing his frame of mind.
