"I asked him about the girl he had came to see. He said that he had checked her phone and found a text message from another guy that said he loved her and wanted to be with her. He told me she got mad at him and they he didn't want to argue. He said he waited until she went to bed and left the house."

I think that comment is spam. It links to egrija.eu, which probably tries to infect your computer with something.

Wow, they raided Sam's house at 1 am. Over 36 hours after Sam had been arrested. There's some damn fine police work right there.

"I noticed that he had a distinct body odor on him. It was an odor I
have never smelt before. I had to turn on the vent and crack my back
window.
Would you smell like death simply because you were in close proximity to decomposing bodies or would you have to actually have come into contact with the decomposing bodies?

Have you ever worked in proximity to something that has an extremely pungent odor? Then, you come home and can smell it on your clothes?
Imagine that, plus several days of not showering.

We discussed this on Websleuths. I used to work in a lab and one of my jobs was to dump the dead experimental animals. The smell certainly seemed to "stick", but some have argued I was just imagining it.

The only evidence for this is Sam's own deceptive statement as far as I know.

Re: Tragedy on First Ave
I used to work in an Italian restaurant busing tables. I could never smell it on myself, but when I picked up dirty clothes off of my floor six weeks later (just kidding, I only had a couple of uniforms) they reeked of restaurant funk. Whether we like to think about it that way or not, food is dead things. Seems like the same thing would have happened with Sam.

I hate going to Subway because I swear I can smell it on my clothes the rest of the day.

I love the smell of Subway when they're baking the bread.

That's a hilarious site. I thought this was interesting considering the discussion so far.
"After reading all these comments, I'm leaning toward the idea that it's
an exclusive perfume concocted for Subway by a large scent
producing firm, and determined by extensive testing to draw an average
person in off the street hungry better than a whole range of other
scents (sizzling steak, freshly baked bread, onions, garlic, and
etcetera). It's my impression that such products typically work best
when they contain minute, barely detectable amounts of one or a few
chemicals which would be extremely disgusting in higher concentrations
('corpse smell', dirty socks, ripe perspiration, skunk, and so on)."
I just don't like any fast food. I'm lucky I live somewhere we have lots
of good local places. Dangrs has is real good though in San Fran. I'm jealous of that.

Y'all have probably talked about this before, but who is that Sam talked to and told that he had murdered these people?
