A lot of personal attacks on the board about who is liberal and who is conservative, I feel personally people are confusing terms so lets define them here in this thread and keep the personal attacks out of the other fucking threads.
The extreme left is ANARCY this is what I most tend towards as I dont much like authority.
The extreme right is FASCISM which I loath very much.
In between there are many things, communism, socialism, nationalism, small govt fiscal conservatives and big govt welfare state advocates. We all probably fall in between all of these catergories and adopt some ideology from both the right and left.
And for the record, yes I do respect Che Guevera not for what he did but because of what he was. He was a revolutionary, many of you believe Americans need a revolution, well Che not only led one but he defines what they look like. I have been in the middle of one in Panama in my time in the military and if you think it is some noble thing that results in a few people stepping out on their porches and firing their BB guns in to the air and demanding an end to tyranny, well youre wrong, its an ugly fucking mess and things happen that haunt you forever. Che led one, I dont alwals agree with his ideals but he walked away from an easy life as a medical doctor to fight for the peasants and farm workers who were being fucked by the rich. Sound familair? Sure does, the only difference is no American has the balls Che had, they only talk about what he did and condemn him for the bad shit that had to happen and which he had to take part in, to be successful in the end.
If you want to know about revolution, what it looks like and how its done you study Che, you dont have to like his ideals but he was a successful revolutionary, frankly something no cowardly American (including myself) alive today can make a claim of.
Che didnt just didnt sit around on internet discussion forums bitching how bad things were, he got on his motorcycle, dropped out of medical school, and did something about it.
