Have you seen those Brinks ads where the bad guy kicks in the door, the alarm goes off, the phone rings, and the bad guy runs away as mom answers the phone with a scared voice, while Brinks reassures her that all is well & the police are on the way? With a little tweaking they would make great gun ads:
When the bad guy kicks in the door, mom whips out an S&W .40-cal (or gun of choice), fires three rounds, stops to assess, and fires twice more. Daughter, holding phone says, "Nice grouping, mom... the alarm company said the police are on the way and should be here in about 10 minutes." Then, fades to black with the manufacturer's gun logo imposed on the screen, as the announcer says: "When seconds count, you can count on us!"
